As a lawyer you want to ensure that your client's pension (or the spouse's pension) is valued properly. It is tempting to just use the value provided by the pension plan. This could cost your client many thousands of dollars. This is explained on the page entitled "Horror Stories". Most lawyers have now realized that they can avoid a possible negligence case by having a proper valuation report prepared in every case.

We have been producing valuations since 1990 for over 2,000 lawyers from across Canada. We also review valuation reports prepared by others (there is no cost for this service). For a proper valuation report just fill out the information sheet and letter of authorization and send them to us. We will collect all of the necessary information about your client's pension. This saves you the problem of collecting all of the required information.
